FAQ
We know you have questions. Please don’t hesitate to give us a call.
How much does it cost?
Much like building a custom home, converting your van from a utility vehicle into a mobile adventure home depends on what you want. Cost factors include floor plan, design, features, fit and finish. Cost usually ranges from $25k to $100k.
Does the cost include the van?
No. Catapult A.V. will take care of the entire build out. But the client will need to provide us with the cargo or crew van. We happily advise our clients on what brand and models might be the right fit. We can also help source the right van for you.
Do you offer a standard build package?
No. Every design is custom built. Catapult A.V. will consult with each client to determine colors, textures, finishes and functionality. Catapult focuses on building modern, lightweight design with an ease of functionality. We can guide and advise you from start to finish. Give us a call!
What is the difference between the Ford transit and the Mercedes sprinter?
We’ve found that both models make very functional camper vans. The price point is about the same, but the maintenance on the Transit will be cheaper, and more accessible. The Transit’s optional 3.5 turbo V6 produces 149 more horsepower and 135 lbs.-ft more torque than the Sprinter.
